Why? To stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Christ by raising awareness of religious persecution and raising funds for legal work on behalf of the persecuted Church in China and around the world
Did you know... that persecution against Christians in China varies from harassment, humiliation, fines and church closures to imprisonment, torture and forced labour?
Did you know... that when Christians are arrested in China they are often beaten, at times leaving them with serious injuries and in need of hospital treatment?
Did you know... that China's government only permits official, registered churches to function, and that government-sanctioned churches operate under restrictions inconsistent with international human rights standards of religious freedom?
Did you know... that the Chinese government prohibits the teaching of children and young people up to the age of eighteen in churches?
